o   What were your key takeaways from "A Hero's Journey" video?

I have gained a better understanding of what it takes to be on an entrepreneur’s journey and have learned these lessons.

A hero’s journey means:

·       To live every moment of your life like it matters because it does.

·       Live like you have an important mission because you do.

·       Seeing struggles as adventures and setbacks as lessons

This basically means to do not wait to find out your purpose so you can start living and feel like your life matters. You can live your life while you are in the journey because every moment of your life matters even your struggles.

I am the biggest baby and the one to quick to complain and feel discourage at the appearance of difficulties but this is a lesson I have to keep in mind daily so I can always remember, that hardships and setbacks are part of the journey and that I should be grateful for the learning experience.

“What matters most isn’t the prize at the end but how the HERO has changed in the process.” This was another line that was an aha moment because I sometimes focus so much on the end result that I do not pay attention to my personal journey and what I learn and the positive changes that affected me what I still need to learn.

“If you resist a hero’s call, your greatest horror in life isn’t failure, but waking up at 50 or 60 years old and realizing you wasted your life.” This was inspiring from the talk, I would really hate for this to happen, but I am encouraged to keep going I will soon get there.

“A wise person does at once what a fool does at last. Both do the same thing only at different times. Which one are you? Do you have the courage to take the first step and do it today?” I reflected on my entrepreneurial journey as I heard this part of the talk and then asked myself the question. Even though I have gained all these lessons from this course already, I still have some fears and doubt on my ability but asking this question helps me to look deep within and be courageous and believe that yes, I can do it, I can start today.
